Martina Lofdahl/Leifdahl/Leafdale* Fredericks
January 9, 1840 - September 7, 1928

Mrs. Martine Fredricks [sic] was born in Sweden January 9, 1840. She was married to Lars Fredricks and emigrated [sic] with her husband and 4 children to America in 1881(?). They settled in Forest City. For the last 9 years she made her home with a daughter in Mankato, Minnesota. Her husband died here October 30, 1900. One child died in infancy. She died September 7, 1928.

Survived by 5 children: Mrs. E. M. Maun of Des Moines; Mrs. L. T. Jefferson of Mankato, Minnesota; J. A. Fredricks of Paullina; G. H. Fredricks of Minneapolis and Mrs. F. V. Cassidy of Aberdeen, South Dakota; 11 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren, a brother, Martin Leafdale lives in Potter, Nebraska. Burial in Swedish cemetery.
