Beverly Catherine Anderson Evans
(December 4, 1924 - June 10, 2015)

Beverly C. Anderson Evans, age 90, of Lake Mills, died on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City, Iowa.

Beverly C. (Blair) Anderson Evans was born on December 4, 1924, in Forest City, Iowa, to Leonard and Alma (Nelson) Blair. She attended and graduated from Forest City High School in 1943.

In May of 1943, Beverly married Lloyd Anderson. To this union, two children were born: Lloyd, Jr., and Cathi. The family made their home east of Forest City along Highway 9 where Lloyd and Beverly farmed. Several years after Lloyd passed away in 1974, Beverly married Arden Evans of Joice, Iowa.

Beverly was employed at Fleetguard Industries for many years before she retired. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, tending to her beloved pets, reading, and doing handiwork such as crocheting.

She is survived by her children, Lloyd Anderson, Jr., and his wife, Mary, of Forest City, Iowa, and Cathi Brown, of Lake Mills, Iowa; five grandchildren, Jay (Vineta) Anderson, of Forest City, Tom (Tanya) Anderson, of Exira, Iowa, Trent (Melissa) Anderson, of Forest City, Heather (Bill) Walker, of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Sherry (Jim) McAninch, of Alta Loma, California; fifteen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren with another due in July; and several nieces and nephews.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Lloyd Anderson and Arden Evans; three brothers and two sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at the Mittelstadt Funeral Home, 902 East Main Street, Lake Mills, with Rev. Shirley Hoffmann Will officiating. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery, Forest City, Iowa. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
