Larry Thomas McCauley
(November 1, 1944 - November 17, 2010)

Larry Thomas McCauley, 66, of Lake Mills, Iowa, died November 17, 2010, at his home in Lake Mills, Iowa.

Larry Thomas McCauley was born on November 1, 1944, in Forest City, Iowa, a son of Francis E. and Agnes S. (Rodberg) McCauley.

Larry graduated with the “Class of 1962” from Fertile High School, Fertile, Iowa. He was the “Class Clown”.

Larry enjoyed cooking and cruising the countryside in his car.

He worked at Armor/Decker in Mason City, Iowa, for fourteen years, at Winnebago Industries in Forest City, Iowa, and at Lund Foods and Fleetguard Industries in Lake Mills.

He is survived by his brother, Mike, and his wife, Sandy McCauley, of Mason City, Iowa; one niece, Kimberly McCauley, and one nephew Christopher McCauley, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Caroline, in infancy; one brother Roger; and his ex-wife Rosalie.

A military graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Brush Point Cemetery, rural Hanlontown, Iowa, by the Lake Mills Otto/Chose Post #235.

All friends and family are invited immediately following the inurnment to a gathering in Larry’s honor at 3:00 PM on Saturday at The Grand Café, 201 West Main Street, Lake Mills.
