Janet posted the query that you responded to for me. I am looking for ANY information, stories, memories--anything about Hilmer and Edith's daughter, Ione, and especially ANYTHING you can tell me about Ione's daughter, Karen. Ione was my aunt, my Dad's sister. She was raised by Hilmer and Edith and I was hoping that their obits would mention Ione and Karen. Ione died in 1952 and her husband, Albert Merle Gill, remarried and we never heard from them again. I am hoping to find Karen alive but if she isn't, I want to find out what happened to her. I located Hilmer's and Edith's obits after a personal trip to Fort Dodge Library (3 1/2 hour drive)but they didn't mention Ione or Karen. I have copies if you want them. I also went to the cemetery where they are buried and took pictures. Ione is buried right beside them. Please contact me to share information!!! Glad, very glad, to hear from you!!
