HI KAREN! I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME & EFFORT. WHAT I'AM TRYING TO TIE TOGATHER IS THE FOLLOWING. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER JAMES L. DAVIS WAS BORN IN IOWA, COUNTY UNKNOWN IN JUNE 1848.BUT IN 1910 HIS SON JAMES H. DAVIS WAS LISTED IN THE 1910 CENSUS IN FULTON IOWA WORKING FOR THE RAIL ROAD. WHY WOULD A MISSOURI BORN PERSON PICK OUT THAT TOWN TO WORK IN,UNLESS HIS FATHER TOLD HIM IT WAS A GOOD PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK.WE DO NOT KNOW WHO THE THE PARENTS OF JAMES L. DAVIS WAS.
