(b. 05 May 1877 d. Jul 1970)

Mrs. Roy Hale, 90, a resident of Friendship Haven for the last 10 years, died there Sunday. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Bruces Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Willis McLaughlin, chaplain at Frieendship Haven, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Tuesday. There are no immediate survivors. Drusilla Gillfillan was born in Des Moines. She came to Fort Dodge as a young girl and was employed at the Green-Wheeler Shoe Factory. In 1901 she married Roy Hale at Fort Dodge where they made their home. Mr. Hale died in 1947. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors. She did alteration work for many Fort Dodge clothing stores.
