(March 22, 1873 – March 30, 1907)
Seymour Democrat, Seymour, Iowa, Thurs., Apr 4, 1907, p.1
Alice Della Jennings was born in Smithsfield, Fulton County, Iowa, March 22, 1873, and died at her home in Kansas City, Mo., March 30, 1907, aged 34 years, 8 days. She was married to Walter E. Armintrout, March 20, 1895, at Seymour, Iowa. At an early age she gave her heart to Christ and has held to her faith during the years since. At the close of life she met the test by calmly resigning all to Christ and died with the hope of a blessed immortality. For a number of months her health has been declining and death was a release, from great suffering. The remains were brought to Seymour for burial and the funeral was conducted from the home of her father, N. L. Jennings, Monday, April 1, at 2 p.m. by Rev. Clemens, assisted by Rev. Hardaway. The many friends of the bereaved expressed tender sympathy in every way they could. There were present from a distance, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gamons, Bourbon, Ind., Mrs. James Gordon, Ottumwa, Iowa, Mrs. Charles Little, Marion, Iowa, N. H. Jennings, Collins, Iowa; and Thomas Jones, Collins, Iowa.
