Obituary

Cloyd Elmer Shepherd was born Nov. 14, 1877 and died at the old home Aug. 22, 1903, aged 25 years, 8 months and seven days. The funeral was held from the U. B. church of which he was a member, in the presence of a large circle of sympathizing friends, Sabbath at 3 p.m., conducted by the pastor.

The Knights of Pythias lodge of which he was a member, showed a brother's love and rendered every possible kindness and tenderly and affectionately carried his body to its last resting place. May God bless them and the bereaved family and bring them home at last.
