JUDITH HELTON ... Services for former Corydon resident Judith Marie Helton, 38, of Modesto, Calif., who died in a March 10 private plane crash at Modesto, were held there March 16.

Mrs. Helton was born in Centerville, attended school at Corydon and moved to Modesto in 1960. She had worked for the Stanislaus County Library for 20 years.

She held a fine arts degree from Stanislaus State College and painted holiday window scenes for friends and some stores.

Survivors include two sons, Paul and Gary Helton, Both of Modesto; her parents, Gilbert and Florence Snider, Modesto; a brother, Gary Snider, Placentia, Calif.; and three sisters, Jane Russo, Martinez, Calif., Faye Wakefield, El Cajon, Calif., and Florine Willard, Chula Vista, Calif.

The family suggests memorial to the American Cancer Society.
