Funeral Services Held Sunday For Jeff G. Gingerich, 91

Jeff G. Gingerich, 91, died Thursday, March 4, 1976, at his home.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sunnyside Conservative Mennonite Church with Morris Swartzendruber, David L. Yoder and Alva Swartzendruber serving as ministers. Burial was in the East Union Cemetery. Peterseim Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pall bearers were Monroe Miller, Paul L. Miller, Floyd Gingerich, Clifford Gingerich, George Gingerich and Alvin Gingerich.
Mr. Gingerich was born March 15, 1884, in rural Johnson County, the son of George D. and Mary Shetler Gingerich. On December 3, 1908, he married Ida S. Yoder, who preceded him in death on May 22, 1936. On February 21, 1943, he married Lovina Schlabach at Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church.
He was a charter member of both Sunnyside and Fairview Conservative Mennonite Churches, but his membership was most recently with the Sunnyside Church.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Mary and Mabel, both of Kalona, Elsie of Nashwauk, Minn., and Arvilla, of Calico Rock, Arkansas; one son, Chester of Middlebury, Indiana; four grandsons and one brohter, Ben G. of Kalona.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Eli (Anna) Miller; and four brothers, Joe, Dan, Menno and Simon Gingerich.
