Linda Jean Ross, the daughter of Lyman Rex and Marjorie May (Holmes) Emerson, was born April 23, 1944 in Winterset, Iowa. Linda graduated from high school in Atlantic, Iowa. On May 1, 1966, Linda was united in marriage with Ronald Ross. Ron would precede her in death on June 19, 1996. On May 9, 1998, Linda was united in marriage with Michael Guinn. Michael would precede her in death on June 22, 2018. Linda died on Sunday, March 3, 2019, at the Pella Comfort House in Pella, Iowa. She was 74 years old. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Ron and Michael. Those left to honor Linda's memory include her son, Jim (Tricia) Ross of Coralville, Iowa; her daughter, Sherry Ross of Pella, Iowa; her grandchildren, Hayley (Nic) Rude, Samuel Ross and Audrey Denekas; her step daughters, Suzanne and Michele Guinn; and her sister, Connie (Gary) Shebeck of Grinnell, Iowa.
