Doyle Brown, 99, of Washington, died, Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the McCreedy home. Doyle Nelson Brown was born May 4, 1920 in Washington, Iowa, the son of Clarence and Clara (Palm) Brown. He was united in marriage to Helen Baker on December 18, 1940 in Washington. Survivors include three daughters, Phyllis Hazelett of Washington, Lois Lemley and special friend Don McAvoy of Washington, and Betty Jo Hamil and special friend Gary Dawson of Washington, three brothers, Kenneth (Martha) of Mt Pleasant, Clarence (Pauline) of Washington, and Dale (Joyce) of Jackson, MO, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen in 2007, sisters Virginia Paxson, Joshephine Mullikin, Leila Mullikin, brother Leland Brown.
