Dr. Sommers Buried Tuesday

Graveside services for Dr. Roy S. Sommers, 82, a former Kalona resident, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona, with Rev. Elgin Howard officiating.
Dr. Sommers, who lived in Des Moines a number of years, died there last week. Arrangements were made by Peterseim Funeral Home.
Among the survivors is Dr. Sommer's wife, the former Cecilia Snider, also a former resident of Kalona, and a brother, Dr. E.J. Sommers of Des Moines.
