To The Memory Of
A FRIEND OF MUSIC, MARIE

You called me home, O Lord,
You took me in your arms;
You'll keep me safe, O Lord,
From pain or any harm.
You've given to me, O Lord,
A life so full of living;
You've given friends, O Lord,
Who've been so full of giving.
The time has come, O Lord,
The time to say Goodbye;
But a life as full as mine;
Shall never, never die.
I thank you too, O Lord,
For tributes, great and small;
For sounds of music, Lord,
I thank you for it all.
For bigger pleasures, Lord,
I thank you too;
A Hallelujah Chorus, Lord,
For now I am with you.
