Victor Malichky Sr., 69, of Richmond died Tuesday eveing, September 26, 1972 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after a sudden illness.
Funeral Services will be held Friday at 10:00 in the Peterseim Funeral Chapel in Kalona, with the Rev. L.J. Berthold in charge. Prayer service will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. in the Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Richmond.
He was born October 11, 1902 at Richmond, the son of Anthony and Anna Lasek Malichky. He married Cecilia Holmes, July 12, 1930 in Lone Tree.
Mr. Malichky was a livestock buyer and farmed in the Kalona area all his life.
He is survived by his widow; one son, Victor Jr., of Riverside; two daughters, Mrs. Alphones (Joan) Kloepfer and Mrs. Arlis (Sharon) Stumpf, both of Kalona; 8 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
