BRIGHTON - Services for William H. Fritz, 86, former Brighton area resident, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church at East Pleasant Plain.
Fritz died Monday in San Diego, Calif., where he made his home. Last rites will be conducted by Father Louis Leonhardt. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Gould Funeral Home in Brighton.
Fritz was born Feb. 21, 1887. He was married to Gertrude Keller in 1908. She preceded her husband in death in 1932.
Surviving are four children: Elmer Fritz, Davenport; Mrs. LeRoy Lenninger, Long Grove, Iowa; Mrs. Leo Kelly, San Diego, Calif.; and Mrs. F.C. Rynearson, both of San Diego, Calif. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
