Four Area Men Taken In Death During The Past Week

PAUL H. WELTE

Paul H. Welte, retired farmer of Richmond died Monday evening, September 25, 1967 in Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 27 days.
Paul Henry was born November 29, 1895 near Richmond, the son of Anthony and Carolina Casper Welte. He never married.
He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Maude Kallaus, Richmond, Mrs. L.J. Keifer, Rt. 2, Kalona, and Mrs. Zitta Keifer, Washington. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 28 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Richmond with the Rev. Fr. Leroy Bergthold saying Requiem Mass. Interment was made in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Richmond. The Peterseim Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
