Four Area Men Taken In Death During The Past Week

EMIL T. SAHS

Funeral services for Emil T. Sahs were held Tuesday, September 26, 1967 at the Peterseim Funeral Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Sahs died Saturday evening, September 23, in Mercy Hospital at the age of 80 years, 3 months, and 18 days. The Rev. Lowell A. Koch was minister in charge. Interment was made in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Sharon Center. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Iowa City.
Emil T. Sahs was born June 5, 1887 in Germany. He came to the United States when he was 14 years of age. He was married to Minnie Sehr and she died in 1960. He lived in the Sharon Center community most of his life.
He is survived by one son, Harold of Kalona.
