Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning, February 17, 1967 at Holy Trinity Catholic church, Richmond, for Mrs. Anna S. Grady, who died at her home in Kalona February 14 at the age of 98 years and 1 day. Requiem mass will be said by Rev. Fr. William Snell and interment will be made in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
A prayer service was held this afternoon at 2:30 in the Peterseim Funeral Chapel and a similar service will be held tonight at 7:30 o'clock.
Anna Sophia Strabala was born February 13, 1869 in Washington County, a daughter of John B. and Jane Schmitt Strabala. On October 27, 1891 she was married to Alfred Newell Grady in Holy Trinity Church in Richmond. He preceded her in death in 1929.
She is survived by two sons: Ivo E. and Hilton Grady; three daughters, Mrs. Willis W. Gingerich, Mrs. Lloyd Strickler and Miss Norma Grady, all of Kalona. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mrs. E.C. Kern and Mrs. Irvin Kelley and one son, Lamont.Funeral Card
