Wilma Leona Thompson was born at Kalona September 2, 1915, a daughter of Lee and Luella Schrader Thompson. She was married to Ervin Butterbaugh July 28, 1932 and worked as a housekeeper at Oakdale Sanatorium until her illness.
Surviving are her husband: one daughter, Mrs. Harold Blumenstein of Wellman; one son, Wesley, of Kalona; six grandchildren; three brothers: Donald Thompson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Harold of California, and Frank of Mt. Pleasant, Ill.; and one sister, Mrs. William Allen of Wellman.
