Bertrand Shebek dies Friday

RIVERSIDE - Bertrand Shebek, 72 died Friday morning at his home in Riverside.

The funeral will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Riverside with the Rev. William Boeckmann in charge. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Sunday in the Sorden Funeral Chapel at Riverside. Rosary will be at Sorden's at 3 and 8 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Shebek was born Feb 18, 1901, a son of John and Elizabeth Schnoebelen Shebek. He was a member of St. Mary Church and the Order of Foresters and had been a farmer in Washington County all his life.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Geneva Schnoebelen and Zelda Shebek, and a brother Walter, all of Riverside.

One brother, John, preceded him in death, along with his parents.
