Mrs. Elizabeth Shebeck Dies Sunday Morning Native of Riverside

RIVERSIDE - Mrs. Elizabeth Josephine Shebeck, 84, died Sunday morning at 7:30 o'clock in the home of her daughter, Geneva Schnoebelen. She had suffered a stroke a year ago and had been seriously ill since that time.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 9:00 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic church. Burial will be in St. Vincents cemetery. Rosary will be recited tonight at 8:30 o'clock at the home. Sorden and Adams are in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Shebeck was born March 5, 1867 in Riverside, the daughter of Gregory and Josephine Schnoebelen.

She was married June 27, 1898 to John A. Shebeck.

She was a member of St. Mary's church in Riverside and Rosary society of that church.

Mr. Shebeck died Feb 26, 1908.

Survivors include three sons, Bert, Walter and John all of Riverside; two daughters, Zelza (Zelda) and Mrs. Geneva Schnoebelen; two sisters, Lucy Schnoebelen and sister Gregory of Ottumwa and 2 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

(Note surname is Shebek not Shebeck).
