DEATH OF JOSEPH KOS
The death of Joseph Kos, the venerable merchant of Richmond, occurred Wednesday of last week. We did not hear of it until too late for the paper last week. He has not been in the best of health for some time, but his death was entirely unexpected and was a great shock to his family and his many friends. He had been in his store the day before his death feeling as well as usual for some time. His funeral was held last Friday, attended by many old friends. Joe Kos had been one of the Richmond merchants for many years and was respected and honored by a wide circle of friends.
