MRS. KOS TAKEN TO HER ETERNAL HOME FRIDAY
Barbara Spevacek Kos was born in Bohemia in 1862. She came to America at the age of six years and has since then lived in or near Richmond. She was united in marriage to Joseph Kos in 1883. To this union were born six children; Edith, deceased; Celeste; Allie; Zdenka; Hilda and Joseph. The children living are all residents of this community. Her husband preceded her in death in 1925. In addition to her children she is survived by one brother Vancel Spevacek; and twenty grandchildren who mourn her passing. Her sister, Mrs. Vancel Vesley was layed to rest December the 18th, 1932.

Mrs. Kos was a member of the Z.C. B. J. lodge.
She died December 30th, 1932 at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 1day.
