MRS. JOHN LONG TAKEN SUDDENLY

DIES SUDDENLY AT HOSPITAL, FOLLOWING AN OPERATION SATURDAY

Mrs. John W. Long, 52 years old died very unexpectedly shortly before noon today at the Washington County Hospital. She submitted to an operation last Saturday and had been making a fine recovery. She was preparing to return to her home, 615 North Avenue B when the end came very suddenly, of a heart complication.

The body was taken to Sherman's funeral home, where it was announced that funeral plans have not yet been completed.

Della L. Sage was born in Washington County Jan. 28 1884, and all of her life had lived in this county, with the exception of one year in Kansas. She was the daughter of Edward W. and Amanda (Meeker) Sage.

Surviving her are her husband and these children: Dale C. of Detroit, Glenn H., William E., Mrs. Ruth Ayers, Clifford, Richard, Carl and Marjorie, all of Washington.

There are also two brothers and four sisters: George Sage and Mrs. Ruth Wesson of Seattle, Gideon Sage of Leon, Iowa, Mrs. Alice Sherman of Seymour, Iowa, Mrs. John Woods of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Mrs. A. W. Stiles of Creston, Iowa.
