Lloyd G. Ropp, 77, of Kalona, died Dec 22, 2010 at Mercy Hospital after a lingering illness. Lloyd G. Ropp was born Aug 5, 1933, in Kalona, the son of George and Fannie (Miller) Ropp. On Jan 6, 1959, he was united in marriage to Anna Mae Bontrager. Surviving are his wife Anna Mae; four sons; Lavern (Susan), Freeman (Maxine), of Kalona, Glendon (Lorena) of Hutchinson, KS, Galen (Loris) of Crafton, KY; three daughters, Luella (Morris) Yoder of Hutchinson, KS, Marlene (William) Yoder of Crafton, KY, Velda (Jay) Miller of Fairland, OK; 34 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four brothers, Eldon, Edwin (Anna), Wilbur (Verna), Norman (Mary Jane); and two sisters, Mary and Lydia Ropp, all of Kalona. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Henry; two granchildren; LaWayne Ropp and Bethany Ropp.
