Eunice I. Mann

Eunice I. Mann, 90, of Packwood, died at 3:42 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Gould Funeral Home in Brighton, with the Rev. Naomi Lock officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton.

Open visitation began at 2 p.m. today. The family will be present tonight from 7-8.

Memorials may be sent to Jefferson County Hospital Long-Term Care Unit.

Mrs. Mann was born Nov. 10, 1912, in Lockridge, the daughter of Christian and Lydia Kern Pohren. She married Ralph D. Mann April 2, 1934, in Davenport. He died Nov. 8, 1984.

Mrs. Mann was raised in the Germanville area and attended country school. She lived in the Packwood-Richland area most of her life. Mrs. Mann moved into Jefferson County Hospital in March 2002.

She was a 4-H leader and had been active in the Jefferson County Farm Bureau.

Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette M. Streeter and husband John of Littleton, N.H.; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Norma Hesseltine and Viola Norton, both of Washington, Iowa; and one brother, Leonard Pohren of Wayland.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one son Kenneth Mann; one sister, Dorothy Crile; and three brothers, Everett, Harold and Clifford Pohren.
