Pringle Funeral On Thursday

BRIGHTON, Ia. - Cora Pringle, 85, long-time resident of Brighton community, died at 10:36 p.m. Monday at Washington County hospital in Washington where she had been a patient for the past several weeks.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Brighton with the Rev. Stanley Woesle(sp) in charge. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery. The body is at the Gould funeral home in Brighton.

Mrs. Pringle was born Cora Gray on March 30, 1880, at St. Joseph, Mo. She was married to Brice J. Pringle at Des Moines on Dec. 16, 1908.

They operated a cafe in Brighton for several years and later moved to a farm northwest of Brighton. In later years she operated a Tea room in Brighton.

Mrs. Pringle was a member of the Methodist church and the Eastern Star.

She is survived by a foster daughter, Mrs. Wilma Spielman man(err), Cedar Rapids; also two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Stumps, Kansas City, and Mrs. Georgia Francis, Denver, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mada Dickinson, Brighton, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, who died October, 1927, two brothers and a sister.
