Wednesday, August 15, 1979Mrs. Heck dies at 70
BRIGHTON - Bernadine Heck, 70, Route 2, Brighton, died unexpectedly at her home Monday. The Rosary will be recited at Jones Funeral Home in Washington tonight at 8:30. Funeral Mass will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Washington at 10 a.m. Thursday.
Bernadine Naomi Moran Heck was born February 25, 1909 at Mount Pulaski, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Ollie Erlenbush Moran. She married Fred Heck at Riverside. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, five children: Francis Heck, Minnesota; Beulah Pacha, Brighton; Ronald Heck, Fairfield; Donald Heck, California and Barbara Thompson, Riverside, and 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two sisters: June Porschke, Rock Island, Ill., and Virginia Petersmith, Coal Valley, Ill.
She was preceded by a daughter and seven brothers and sisters.
