Dave Custer, 89, dies in Canada on Thursday.

Word has been received here of the death of Dave Custer of Saskatchewan, Canada, Thursday, Nov. 29, at the age of 89. No word was given on the funeral arrangements.

Mr. Custer was born in Washington County, a son of John and Jeanette Custer and left his community when a young man. He married and settled in Battleford, Canada.

Survivors include his wife, six sons, a daughter and a number of grandchildren; also three brothers here, John, Ed. and Wes Custer; and two sisters: Mrs. Glen Hazen of Muscatine and Mrs. Edith Daut of Long Beach, Calif.
