Services Will Be Held For Mrs. Harry Bagby

Funeral services for Mrs. Harry Bagby, 64, of Brighton, will be held Saturday, December 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the Gould Funeral Hone in Brighton. The Rev. Roger Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery.

Mrs. Bagby died Wednesday, December 18 at 1:45 a.m. in the Washington County hospital. She had been seriously ill since September.

Gladys Belle Bagby was born December 14, 1899 in Jefferson County, near Glasgow, the daughter of William and Alice Coder Jenkins. She was reared and educated in Jefferson County and spent her entire life in Jefferson and Washington County.

She was married August 3, 1918 to Harry S. Bagby. She was a member the Pythian Sisters and the Methodist church.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Dorothy Louise, at home; two brothers, William Jenkins of Alhambra, California and Walter Jenkins of Brainerd, Minnesota; one sister, Mrs. Laura Downard of Van Wert, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
