Mary E. Randall

Mary E. Randall, 59, of Washington, Iowa, died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2000, at Washington County Hospital in Washington.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Christian Church in Washington with the Rev. David Elmore officiating. Interment will be in Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

Visitation began at 9 a.m. today at Jones Eden Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will be present from 7-8:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Mrs. Randall was born Nov. 23, 1940, in Burlington, the daugther of Luther and Dorothy Seitz Dillavou. She married Robert Randall June 15, 1958, in Washington.

She attended school in Letts and in Brighton for a short time and lived all of her married life in Washington. She was a homemaker and worked for the Washington Care Center, Rose Motel and Northrup King Company.

She was a member of First Christian Church, the Christian Women's Fellowship and the women's Fellowship and the women's bowling league in Washington.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Randy Randall of Washington; one daughter, Carmen Jones of Washington; six grandchildren; one sister, Donna Crow of Colona, Ill.; one brother, Luther "Butch" Dillavou of Washington; and three sisters, Elaine DeVore of Columbus Junction, Marilyn Snyder of Grandview and Peggy Seaba of Sigourney.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
