CONRY, LOUGH, HELFRICH, ADAMS, PARKER, WILLIAMS, HAYES

Mary D. Lowry, 85, died Sunday, Dec 13, 2009, in the M.L. McCreedy Home in Washington following a long illness.

Celebration of life services were held Dec.17 at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington with the Rev. Julie Poulsen officiating. Memorials were established for the Alzheimer's Association.

Mrs. Conry was born April 26, 1924, in Arbela,Mo., the daughter of Ray Webb and Elsie Viola (ADAMS) LOUGH. She married Charles HELFRICH on Sept 1, 1945, in Washington. He preceded her in death. She married Ray CONRY on Nov.4, 1978 in Agency.

She attended school in Arbela, Mo. She worked at the American Pearl Button Factory and the Pines Nursing Home, was a waitress at the State Cafe, and worked at McCleery Cumming Calendar Factory. She later worked at Advance Ross for five years until her retirement. She loved to travel and enjoyed doing puzzles. She enjoyed camping and attending swap meets.

Surviving are five sons, Ronald HELFRICH and wife Vicky of Washington, Charles HELFICH and wife Nellie of Washington, Tom HELFRICH of Mt.Pleasant, Steven HELFRICH of Latimer, and Larry HELFRICH and friend Julie MONTGOMERY of Keokuk; three daughters, Jessie Parker and husband Dale of Lafayette, GA, Diane HELFRICH and Linda WILLIAMS of Lafayette, GA; three stepsons, Gary, Dean, and Dale CONRY; 17 grandchldren; 42 great grandchildren; and three great, great grandchildren; and two brothers, George LOUGH and wife Nancy of Brighton, and Raymond LOUGH and wife Darlene of Riverton, Wyo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles HELFRICH in 1977; her husband Robert CONRY in 1992; one infant son, Gary Lee HELFRICH; one grandson; one sister, Mildred HAYES; and three brothers, Edward, John and Gordon LOUGH
