Fredric Christian Edler died Saturday afterrnoon, February 21st., atone 0'clock, after a short illness with pneumonia. He was born at BraemerHafen, Germany, August 14, 1818 and came to this country when nineteen years of age. in 1842 he was married to miss Catherine Lindsley, to which union twelve children were born. Of this number there are seven left to mourn the loss of a kind father, they are: Fredric Haven; Matilda, wife of J. T. Frazier; John Levi; Lewis George; David Solomon; William Peter and Frank Fredric, all of whom were present when death finally came, Besides the children there are twenty-nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held Monday from the German Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. Giering, with the interment in the church cemetery.
