DAVISON, GOLDEN, REEDER

Mrs. Rollin (Lora) Davison, 33 of route 2 Wayland died this morning, August 20, 1979 at University Hospital in Iowa City. She had been ill for the past three years.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Washington United Methodist Church with the Rev. J. Roland Crandall in charge. Friends may call at the Sherman-Eden Funeral Home through Tuesday evening. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Davison was born Jan. 22, 1946 in Davenport, a daughter of Howard and Madge Randall Golden. She was raised at Donnellson where she graduated from high school. She attended Burlington Junior College, NE Missouri State University and Iowa Wesleyan College, and was married at Donnellson to Rollin Davison Dec. 27, 1969. They had lived in Iowa City the past six years and moved to their home south of Washington in January of 1979.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, a former 4-H Club member, a volunteer in 'Reach for Recovery', and had taught Sunday School for a number of years. She had been employed as a nurses aid for three years and was a ward clerk fro three years at University Hospitals.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Stephanie Alexa Davison, at home; her mother, Mrs. Madge Golden of Corydon, Iowa; one brother, James Golden, and his family, of Fort Madison; a half-brother, Eugene Reeder of Clearfield; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Basil Golden and a half-sister-in-law, Mrs. Patricia Jo Reeder.
