Mrs. Lucy E. Rehmel, 95-year-old resident at the United Presbyterian Home died there this morning, Nov. 24, 1973. She had been failing the past two weeks.

The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. William H. Kettlitz in charge. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.

Lucy Elizabeth Mauthe was born in the Grace Hill community of Washington County April 19, 1878, a daughter of John and Anna Kohler Mauthe. She was reared in this county and married to Ivan T. Rehmel Oct. 12, 1904. He died July 6, 1957.

Mrs. Rehmel had lived in Washington since 1917, farming in the Grace Hill Community prior to that time.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the Fortnightly Club.

Surviving are four nieces, Mrs. Milburn McKay of Washington, Mrs LeGory O'Laughlin of Glendale, Calif., Mrs Verna Wallace of Clearwater, Fla., and Mrs. Gladys White of Utica, New York. Also a number of grandnieces and nephews.
