Walter "Doc" W. NEFF, 89, of Washington, died April 29, 2000, at the United Presbyterian Home following a lengthy illness.

Mr. NEFF was born May 11, 1910 in Wayland, to Henry and Nora TUCKER NEFF. He married Ivy MARION on August 26, 1932 in Wayland. He attended Cottonwood school near Wayland. He was a farmer and raised hogs north and west of Washington. He resided mostly in Washington spending 20 years in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. NEFF was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed woodworking and making miniature crafts.

Mr. NEFF is survived by his wife Ivy NEFF, one son Jerry NEFF and wife Martha, of Henderson, Nev.; two brothers Sam NEFF, of Washington and Forrest NEFF, of Wayland; one sister Eva GARRETT of Washington; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by the parents, three brothers and three sisters.
