Mrs. Bessie Mae Stafford, 46, wife of Jack Stafford, died at 5:45 this morning at the Stafford home on South Seventh avenue, her death was sudden and unexpected.
Funeral services will be held at two o'clock Thursday afternoon at the L. A. Jones funeral home.
Mrs. Stafford was born in 1901 in Washington county, a daughter of David and Rosa (Edwards) Riley. She was married in 1942 at Iowa City, to Jack Stafford.
Besides her husband she is survived by her mother, Mrs. David Riley of Brighton; one sister, Mrs. Charles Fish of Washington; one brother, Fred Riley of Brighton.
