Hattie Mabel Jacobs
Hattie Mabel Jacobs, wife of Robert Jacobs, died at her home on south Avenue D. in Washington, Monday, Nov. 17, 1930 from double pneumonia. she had been critically ill since Friday morning.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Washington, Iowa.
Hattie Mabel Riley was born Tuesday, July 5, 1904, in Brighton, a daughter of David Oscar and Rosa May Edwards Riley, both of whom are living. On Sep. 1, 1920 she was married to Hiram Robert Jacobs.
Surviving are her husband; seven children, Robert Jr., David, Milford, Betty, Harry, Clifford and Rosalie; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Ivandahl and Mrs. Charles Fish of Washington; and three brothers, Robert Riley of Washington, and Fred and Lacey Riley of Brighton.

21 November 1930Funeral for Mrs. Jacobs
Funeral services for Hattie M. Jacobs were held at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Jones funeral home, conducted by Rev. A. A. Vintz. Burial was at Woodlawn cemetery. The pall bearers were: Neal Jacobs, Emmett Davidson, Floyd Farrier, Clarence Griffin, Gerald Evans and Howard Jacobs.
