Mrs. Houck Burial

Mrs. Charles Houck, former resident of Washington, died recently. Funeral services will be tomorrow morning at 9 o'clock at Cedar Rapids.

The body will be brought here for burial in Elm Grove cemetery, to arrive about 11:30 tomorrow morning.

Mrs. Charles Houck

Lena A. Houck, 78, wife of Charles Houck, 424 Twelfth street SE, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital at 12:45 p.m. Monday after a brief illness. Born July 4, 1865, in Washington county, Iowa, she was married to Charles Houck in 1893 at Kansas City, Mo. She had been a resident of Cedar Rapids for 13 years and was a member of the Women's Relief Corp and of the Presbyterian church.

In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Wayne Houck of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Francis Singleton, Wellman, and Mrs. Alberta O'Flaherty of Cedar Rapids; two grandsons, Charles Doyle and Robert E. Houck of the U. S. navy, and a granddaughter, Charlotte Malvene Hennessey of LaCrescent, Calif.

Services will be conducted in the Moen chapel at 9 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. H. L. Ruthrauff. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery at Washington, Ia. Friends may call at the Moen chapel.
