MRS. BEENBLOSSOM TAKEN LAST NIGHT

WASHINGTON WOMAN SUCCUMBS TO HEART ATTACK AT HOME

Mrs. Lydia Jane Beenblossom, widow of Abram Beenblossom, died at 10:45 last night at her home, 426 South Ninth avenue. For more than three years she had been subject to heart attacks, and it was one of them that caused her death, which came suddenly.

Funeral services are announced for 2:30 Saturday afternoon at the late home, and will be followed by burial in Elm Grove cemetery.

Lydia Jane Sage was a daughter of E. W. and Amanda Meeker Sage, and was born May 11, 1858, in Washington county. She was married in 1874 to John Strickland, and they were the parents of one daughter, Mrs. Clara Daub of this community.

Her marriage to Abram Beenblossom occurred January 29, 1879, and they were the parents of six children; Mrs. Estle Sayre of Washington, Mrs. Ollie Edwards, who died 19 years ago, Mrs. Ralph Williams of Washington, Robert of Columbus Junction, John of Washington and Mrs. Hazel Davidson of Raymore, Mo. Mr. Beenblossom died 10 years ago.

There are also three step children, Mrs. Elmer Kephart and C. R. Beenblossom of Washington and T. J. Lewis of Tulsa, Okla.

Brothers and sisters living are G. L. Sage of Leon, Iowa, George Sage of Washington state, Mrs. Frank Wesson of Portland, Oregon, Mrs. T. J. Sherman of Seymore, Iowa, Mrs. John Woods of Twin Falls, Idaho, Mrs. John Long of Washington and Mrs. Will Stiles of Preston, Iowa.

Mrs. Beenblossom was a member of the Washington congregation of the Church of Christ, and was one of it's devoted and useful members.
