ANDREW HESSER IS DEAD AT HOME HERE
Man 60 years of age had lived in Washington for a year. Funeral Sunday.

Andrew Hesser died this morning at 12:30 at his home 821 So. Ave. D, after an illness of 3 weeks. He suffered at first from the grippe, but his illness soon assumed a more serious nature and his mind was affected. The funeral servies will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the residence and interment will be made in Elm Grove cemetery.

Mr. Hesser was born in Ohio, Dec. 8, 1852 and came to Henry County, this state many years ago. His home was near Coppock, until a year ago when he came to Washington and has since made his home here. His wife died about thirty years ago. Mr. Hesser was a member of the Christian Church of Coppock.

Four children are living as follows: Alonzo Hesser, who lives in Illinois; Mrs. Mary Martin of Henry County; Mrs. Lulu Davidson of Henry County; Mrs. Della Hesseltine of Marion Twp., this county. Mr. Hesser was not very well known to Washington people because of his brief residence in this city. He was known to his friends as a good, upright man and was well liked.
