DEATH TAKES MRS. THOMPSON

WASHINGTON, Iowa - Mrs. Dwinnie Rankin Thompson, 62, wife of Ralph W. Thompson, Abstractor here, died Sunday noon at Washington county hospital, where she had been a patient since December, 1944. Mrs. Thompson was born in Washington county September 25, 1883, and was married to Mr. Thompson December 27, 1905. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, White Shrine and Methodist church. She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Dan Brindley, Washington; a son, Robert T. Thompson, Bremerton, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. D. D. Guthrie of Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Don Bell of Davenport; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the James Funeral house with the Rev. Fred E. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery.
