Mrs. Hilda KOOPMAN, a former Ainsworth resident died August 31 (1982 clipping) at Topeka, Kansas.

Funeral services were held at Jones Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Ernest Caltvedt in charge and burial in Elm Grove Cemetery.

Hilda Catherine Schlichting was born October 17, 1900 at Helper, Kansas, the daughter of John C. and Meta GLEEHAN SCHLICHTING. She was married to Elmer J. KOOPMAN at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on December 2, 1923. He died February 22, 1972.

She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.

She was survived by four children: Mrs. Robert (Geneva)MEADOWS, St. Louis, MO, Ray A. KOOPMAN, Ainsworth Mrs. Wayne (Irene) SHIREMAN, Topeka, Kansas and Lloyd KOOPMAN, Iowa City; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
