Lawrence "Bud" Baker, 69, of Richland, died Tuesday, Feb 28, 1989, at his home. Mr. Baker was born Dec 24, 1919, in Washington, the son of Howard and Mable (Hotle) Baker. On Apr 9, 1941, he married Ellen Anna Buser in Washington. Surviving are his wife, Ellen; three daughters, Beverly Long of Washington, Roberta Oswalt of Richland, and Cathy Lauderdale of Winfield; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Lucille Ross, Helen Brown, and Dorothy Black, all of Washington, and Martha Brown of New London; and one brother, Clark, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a son, Larry Eugene.
