Roger H. Lance, 76, of Washington, died May 31, 1999, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City. Mr. Lance was born Oct 31, 1922, in Henry County, to Gilbert Forrest and Mayme Marie Miller Lance. He married Audrey Hotle in Washington on Jan 16, 1943. He is survived by his wife; two sons, William of Bradenton, FL., John of Mt Pleasant; and a daughter, Melessa of Guyman, OK.; two brothers, Dale of Washington, and Walter of Sun City, AZ.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant daughter Barbara; a sister, Lucille Warner.
