Homer "Yike" Hotle, formerly of Washington, died Jan 3, 1985, at the Moline Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 81. Mr. Hotle was born Oct 6, 1903, at Washington, the son of William and Mary Wilkin Hotle. On Nov 16, 1926, he married Helen Smith at Ottumwa. Surviving are his wife Helen of Moline; a daughter, Patricia (Mrs. Lee) Mangold, West Chester; son John, also of Moline, three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, William of Rock Island, IL., and five sisters, Mable Baker, Cecille Mayer, and Lucille Fulton, all of Washington; Alice Edgar, Crawfordsville; and Ethel Graf, Wellman.
