William Clark Hotle, 89, died on Sunday, Apr 20, 1958, at his home in Washington. Mr. Hotle was born Nov 8, 1868, in Keokuk County, the son of Henry and Mary Ann (Shockley)Hotle. He was married Nov 29, 1893, to Mary A. Wilkin. Survivors include his wife; four sons; Howard C. of Washington, Homer H. of Moline, IL., Gilbert T. of Mt Vernon, and William D. of Rock Island, IL.; Mable A. Baker, and Cecille L. Mayer of Washington, Lucille I. Fulton and Alice M. Edgar of Crawfordsville, and Ethel M. Graf of Wellman. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Charles of Cawker City, KS, and John of Wichita, KS.; and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Libe and Mrs. Leona Hogg, of Jackson, MS. One daughter, Luella M. died at the age of three.
