Pearl P. Palm, 79, died Wednesday, Feb 11, 1976, at Maplewood Manor Nursing home where she had been a patient for the past 10 days. She had been seriously ill since Dec 26. Funeral services will be Friday at 10AM at St Mary's Catholic Church in Keota with the Rev Raymond Vogel officiating. Burial will be in St Mary's Cemetery, Keota. Rosary will be Thursday at 7:30PM at the Powell Funeral Home, Keota.
Miss Palm was born May 2, 1896, in Clear Creek Township the daughter of John and Katheryn Streit Palm. She attended Clear Creek and Keota Schools and worked as a housekeeper for Father Heinen for 40 years. He served at Toronto, Lavilla and Albia. She lived in Cedar Rapids until June of 1969 when she moved to Keota.
She was a member of St Mary's Catholic Church, St Mary's Reading Circle.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Eva Fosdick of Keota, and Mrs Clarence (Clara) Brown Sr. of Washington: and nices and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
