WEST CHESTER NATIVE DIES IN COLORADO

Dora (Mrs. Gene) Martin of Washington and Virgil Stockman, Winfield, have received word of the death of their brother Lee Henry Stockman born and raised in the West Chester area, died in Boulder Memorial Hospital, Boulder, Colo., on Jan. 15, 1983, after a prolonged illness.

Lee Henry Stockman was born March 24, 1906, one of 13 children of William and Anna Stockman of West Chester. He attended the West Chester school, joined the service, and was stationed in Hawaii during the early 1920s. In 1927 he married Clara West of Pleasant Plain.

Survivors include his wife Clara, two daughters, Joyce of Boulder, and Delores, San Jose, Calif., five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Surviving siblings include brothers Louis of Davenport; Joe of Hemet, Calif., Ivan of Downey, Calif; and sister Osa Nordstrom of Broomfield, Colo.

Five brothers and a sister preceded Stockman in death.
